TSPP is used as a buffering agent, emulsifier, dispersing agent, thickening agent and household detergents, machine wash liquids/detergents, automotive care products, paints and coating.

STPP is also used in pH regulators, water treatment products, water softeners, cosmetics and personal care products, coating products, fillers, putties, plasters, modelling clay and polishes and waxes.
