Adipic Acid is a white crystalline powder (monoclinic system) with a slight acid taste and a nil to very faint odor.

Uses: plasticizers, flexible foam, TPU, wet strength resins for paper, shoe sole, flexible foam, and polyamide. Adipic acid is also used as a food ingredient as a flavorant and gelling aid and in some calcium carbonate antacids to make them tart.
