Ammonium Oxalate is known as an ingredient in the manufacturing of metal polishing compounds. The product is widely used in the electrolytic tinning of iron and for textile dyeing. Ammonium oxalate can be used also as a reagent for the analysis of calcium, lead and the rare earth metals.
