Sodium percarbonate has an active oxygen bleaching agent, content of which is equivalent to 27.5% H₂0₂. It breaks down to oxygen, water and sodium carbonate upon decomposition.

Uses: Sodium percarbonate is an environmentally friendly, high-performance low-temperature oxygen bleaching agent, and is widely used in industry. Sodium percarbonate is used in detergent, bleaching powder, wood floor cleaner, carpet cleaner and other household and personal care products. Also has functions as a disinfector, oxygenation agent, and is utilized in industrial waste water treatment, sterilization, and first-aid.
